Captain Iker Casillas accepts he's not guaranteed his place in coach Carlo Ancelotti's team.
Casillas was outstanding for victory at Rayo Vallecano in midweek.
"The gaffer takes his decision for the benefit of the team. We all accept that.
"The important thing is to win and see if Barça slip up. There's no protection going on, we've already talked about this a lot. The goalkeeper issue is more titillating from the outside than in. What the fans should do is cheer their players on to win in each game."
